In the late 1940's, as our founder, Willi Korth, started thinking about what the
ideal revolver would be like, he had only one goal: To make the best revolver in the world! Thanks to his basic design concept, refined and improved through
many years of practical application, Willi Korth was able to design a revolver with a minimum of internal stress, vibration and recoil. Combined with his
insistence on the best materials from the most reputable suppliers, the most careful assembly by hand-picked craftsmen and his personal inspection of every
revolver that went out the door, he was able to produce a revolver that met his most stringent specifications. In those early days, who would have thought,
that out of shockingly modest beginnings, a German revolver would one day be considered the best in the world? Considering the overwhelming competition from
the American giants, no one gave him a ghost of a chance. Nonetheless, once the first pre-production samples had been unveiled, a grateful public accepted them
Orders from every continent confirmed the Korth Philosophy:
Serious shooters and collectors want quality workmanship. This thought was
the foundation of the development and refinement of Korth revolvers and pistols. They are still being made by our craftsmen the same way, in the same
town of Ratzeburg in northern Germany. Customers appreciate the incomparably high quality of Korth handguns. We also can make one to your specifications.
Loving care will go into what will eventually become a handgun made expressly to your order.
Working with engravers, especially selected for the perfection of their work, we will decorate your special
order either to a sketch or drawing provided by you or to our own high standard of good taste. Please turn to the section on Luxury Arms for views of
